Over the years Dittos for Kiddos has continued to refine the check-in process to make it as streamlined and efficient as possible. By reading the information below and understanding how the process works, you will help us keep this a fast and efficient process! We highly recommend that you print a copy of the “Printer Friendly Version” and bring it with you to the sale on item delivery day in case you need to refer back to it.

How Item Delivery Works

1.  BEFORE YOU BRING YOUR ITEMS TO ITEM DELIVERY

NOTE: Consignors will be responsible for helping to place their clothing items on the sales floor.  Dittos workers will place all non-clothing items on the sales floor for you!

  • Schedule a drop-off appointment from your Consignor Homepage. Those dropping-off items for more than one consignor # should sign up for one appointment PER CONSIGNOR NUMBER
  • Organize all clothing by gender and size
  • Gather all battery-operated items and bring them in a container together.  Make sure all batteries are working.
  • Print and sign your Recall Waiver to bring with you to item delivery.

2. WHEN YOU GET TO ITEM DELIVERY:

  • Pull up at the back by the big roll-up door.
  • Unload your items.  There will be workers there to direct you and take your items where they need to go to be checked.
  • Show designated worker that all battery-operated items are working.
  • Drive your car around to the front of the building and enter the lobby.  You will get checked into the computer, approve the mailing address we have on file, turn in your Recall Waiver and receive your shopping passes.
  • If you have items that need to be delivered to the Modern Living Mall (MLM) do so AFTER you get checked-in.  Items to deliver to the MLM:  furniture, strollers, high chairs, swings, play yards.  Any other items that need to go to the MLM will be checked in at the Round Building, tagged and moved over by DKF workers.
  • Once all of your items have been checked your consignor number will be called and placed on a white board close to the lobby.  When your consignor number is called 0r you see it on the white board you may place your clothes on the sales floor.  DFK workers will place all non-clothing items (including shoes) on the sales floor for you.
  • As you leave please pick up any returned items from the designated area by the lobby exit.  If you do not want to keep any of the returned items you are welcome to place them in tubs or clothing racks marked for donation in the lobby.

3. BEFORE YOU LEAVE ITEM DELIVERY

  • Make sure you have your Pre-sale passes.  If you are a volunteer worker, make sure that you received the Worker Pre-sale passes.  Be sure to bring your pass when you come to shop, as it is your “ticket” to get in! Please remember our Pre-sale Policies:  Our Shopper Policy for both the Worker AND Consignor Pre-Sales is one adult per pass and No children, other than infants in arms or front packs. NO EXCEPTIONS! Absolutely NO CHILDREN will be allowed in the building on either of these nights. Consignors who bring children will not be allowed in to shop.  (This does not include infants.)  Children 12 and older may be admitted at the Consignor Pre-sale IF THEY HAVE A SEPARATE PASS and they must stay with AND shop with an adult who has entered with a pass.
