Many consignors don’t realize the variety of items we accept until their first shopping experience with Dittos for Kiddos. And sometimes it’s hard to know which items should be brought to the spring/summer or fall/winter sales. For those of you who want to know ahead of time, this is for you!
SPRING SALE CLOTHING
ACCEPTABLE
- Children’s clothing in sizes preemie thru 20 AND less than 5 years old.
- Short-sleeved and 3/4-length sleeved tops (unless they have fall/winter detail – pumpkins, snowflakes, etc.)
- Limited amount of long-sleeved infant clothing (only if light or pastel colored or spring/summer detail – flowers, etc.)
- Boys’ long-sleeved, dress shirts (only if light or pastel colors)
- Shorts and Capris
- Pants, including jeans and khakis
- Light-weight sweaters (only if light colored)
- Light-weight wind jackets
- Leotards and dancewear
- Swimwear and coverups
- Maternity clothes (limit 10)
- Seasonally appropriate shoes (limit 8 pr/gender)
NOT ACCEPTABLE
- Long-sleeved tops (unless they have spring/summer detail – flowers, beach scenes, etc.)
- Winter fabrics (corduroy, velvet, fleece, suede, etc.)
- Footed pajamas
- Halloween costumes
- Coats, hats, gloves, mittens, winter boots
FALL SALE CLOTHING
ACCEPTABLE.
- Children’s clothing in sizes preemie thru 20 AND less than 5 years old.
- Long-sleeved, short-sleeved and 3/4-length sleeved tops (unless they have spring/summer detail – flowers, beach scenes, etc.)
- Short-sleeved holiday dresses
- Sleeveless jumpers (only denim, corduroy, velvet, or dark-colored
- Short-sleeved football jerseys or other athletic-wear
- Capri pants (unless they are light or pastel colored or have spring/summer detail)
- Pants, including jeans and khakis
- Coats and jackets
- Halloween costumes
- Leotards and dancewear
- Shorts (only denim or winter fabrics)
- Maternity clothes (limit 10)
- Seasonally appropriate shoes (limi 8 pr/gender)
NOT ACCEPTABLE
- Tank Tops
- Short skirts (unless winter fabric or dark colored)
- Sandals or open-toed shoes
- White dress shoes
- Swimwear or cover-ups
General Items accepted at the Dittos for Kiddos Sale
- TOYS are the best sellers! We estimate that 90-95% of the toys brought to each sale are sold.
- Remeber that any item operated by batteries must have working batteries
- Infant/Toddler Equipment sells great! For example: cribs, beds, mattresses, strollers, carseats, bathtubs, walkers, bouncy seats, etc.
- Infant Supplies: Bottles, feeding bowls, boppy pillows, head rests, diaper bags, breast pumps, etc.
- Bedroom Decor: Comforters, blankets, pictures, mobiles, crib sheets, lamps, rugs, wall-hangings, etc.
- Education/Fun: Books, DVD’s, computer games, board games, music cd’s.
- Accessories: hats, belts, children’s purses and backpacks, hairbows, etc.
- Sports equipment, bikes, outdoor playsets, etc.
- Stuffed animals in like new condition (limit 5)
Items not accepted
- Drop-Side Cribs
- Grab bags of loose toys
- Used underwear, socks, nursing bras
- Used teething rings, pacifiers, nipples and sippy cup lids
- Movies that are rated “R” or that are adult themed
- Video games with a rating of “M”
- Any item that is dirty, stained, torn, extremely worn, has missing buttons, broken zippers, or missing parts
- Any item that has been safety recalled
- Car seats over 4 years old
