No big changes this fall!

  • Minimum Price is now $3.00

  • Enter at the back of the Round Building, as usual, where clothing items will be quickly checked to ensure they are tagged and hung correctly. Consignor will be shown corrections needed and have the opportunity to fix it or take it home.

  • Consignor will show us battery operated items have working batteries

  • Consignor will show us any items with discs (i.e. movies and console games, etc.) have the correct disc in the case. We will tape the cases closed with special tape so we know the correct disc was brought in at drop off.

  • Consignor will check out with Rene and receive shopping passes.

  • Once this is completed, consignor will leave the building while their items are being inspected. Consignor may wait in car, run an errand, enjoy some alone time, grab lunch with a friend, etc. 

  • When consignor’s items have been processed a text will be sent.

  • The consignor will return though the front lobby to pick up any returned items, preferably the same day.

  • If rejected items are not picked up by 2:30 on Saturday, October 3, items will be donated regardless of donate status on the tag.

Consigning Basics

Selling with Dittos for Kiddos is simple! Minimum requirements to be a consignor 25 items or $100 worth of inventory. Consignors will receive a minimum of 60% on all sales. A $6 non-refundable registration fee holds your spot as a seller. A $10 facility fee will be deducted from the commission check. Want to lower your facility fee? Become a Consigning Partner (helper) during the sale. Complete one or more shifts (minimum of 6 hours total.) Sign up in your consignor account. Your consignor account is created when you register to consign.

As A Consignor You:

  • Set your own prices (For best results, we recommend 80% - 90% off of retail)

  • Choose whether or not your items will be discounted on our discount days. (For best results we recommend that you select discount)

  • Choose whether or not you will pick up your unsold items or let them be donated to charity. (Do you really want to take unsold items home?)

  • Choose which commission level you pay and which Consignor Pre-sale you shop.

To Become a Consignor

Register Online

When you register you will receive a consignor number and an online account. The $6 non-refundable registration fee reserves a spot for you and your items and gives you access to our database where you will create your barcode tags, sign up for a drop off appointment, track your sales and more.

Bring Your Items to Us

  • Schedule a drop off appointment from the homepage of your consignor account.

  • Bring your clothing sorted by gender and size.

  • Bring your non-clothing items organized by item type

  • Complete the online check in form that will be emailed to you after the data base closes

  • When you arrive for drop off check in with a hostess for further instructions

Prep & Tag Your Items

Log in to your consignor account to add inventory and create your barcode tags. Make sure all of your items are clean; have all parts and pieces; are free of stains, holes, odor and pet hair; have not been recalled; and are in good condition.

Remember, the goal is to SELL. Price reasonably and make sure your items look and smell good. Consider blessing others by marking your items to be donated if they don’t sell.

Spread the Word

We go to a lot of effort to advertise our seasonal sales. But the most effective advertising is word of mouth. Please help us spread the word to your family and friends. Share on social media. Share in your social circles. Share flyers at businesses you frequent. The more you tell, the more you sell!

Shop

Consignors get to shop at their own private pre-sale! Pass required and good for one adult only. If you are not going to shop, please feel free to give your pass to someone who would like to shop.

Getting Paid

Payments are deposited to your PayPal account using the email you have on your consignor account. Sales, less your chosen commission and consignor fee are deposited no later than three weeks after pick up of unsold items (but may be sooner).

IMPORTANT! Your email in your consignor account must be the SAME AS or LINKED TO your PayPal account. Do this BEFORE the item entry deadline.

  • If earnings have not been claimed in PayPal after 30 days of the deposit, the deposit is returned to Dittos for Kiddos. At that time we will issue a paper check to the mailing address listed in your consignor account. A $3 processing fee will apply. PayPal is quickest and easiest.
